For her solo presentation at Magdalen Art Space, Marion Piper has made a group of new works on paper and canvas responding to her interest in the history of painting and design. A series of one hundred works on paper sets up a conversation between Bauhaus artist Günta Stölzl and painter Édouard Manet.

Piper is a member of WORK HALL studio in High Wycombe. This year her work has been included in  Drawing Collective exhibitions in the USA and Germany. A collaborative painting project by Bharti Parmar and Marion Piper will be on show in, The Twin, Coventry Biennial 2019 at the Herbert Gallery.

Marion will give a talk, ‘End use and factors of production.’ Sunday 27th October 3-4pm at Magdalen Art Space.
