As an experimental photographer, I have been inspired by the work of Alison Rossitor and Anna Atkins. They are both most well known for cameraless photographic work and have both contributed to creating the field of photography.

A camera is like a space-suit to keep photo-sensitive material protected from the hostile environment of the illumined world. Working without a camera changes your relationship with photographic materials and environments.
